A Fable:  THE HARE and THE TORTOISE


1) VOCABULARY:  Use an English-Spanish dictionary or Google translator and find these words:

2) STORY.  Watch the videos and listen to the story. (Three versions of the same fable.)







3)  Describe the two characters.  Use the words in Activity 1 and classify them.












4)  Draw and colour the characters of the story. 


5) Read and write T (tortoise) or H (hare).

6) Match the following words with the correct definition.

TORTOISE                     It is a competition between runners.    

7) Read and answer the questions.

a) Has the tortoise got long legs?
b) Is the tortoise slow?
c) Has the hare got a shell?
d) Who wins the race?



8) Read and reflect. Circle the correct option.

    1. Hello, Family!!! :) Todos los alumnos de 4to y 5to que vengan a los talleres tienen que hacerlo. A él no lo tuve aún, pero los invito a que se sumen virtualmente. Kisses
